    Dear NuInt Members,

**Good News (informed after today's meeting)**
First of all, KEK International Affairs Office has told me that
a Joint Proposal for "Workshop on Neutrino-Nucleus
Interactions (NuInt02)" submitted last August to JSPS-NSF by Sakuda/Casper
is being processed for "approval". This proposal is either
"Both (US/Japan) proposals are accepted" or "Both are rejected".
JSPS says that this means that NSF will approve UCI's proposal.

The final approval will be informed by JSPS/NSF in early
March. JSPS says that if nothing unusual happens, both proposals
    will be accepted.

    (Lipari,Morfin,Casper,Walter,Hayato,Sakuda)

(Meeting started at 8am and ended at 9am.)
    1) We read thru the agreement document.
*) We have to be responsible for the consistency of the
papers. I will send via e-mail a list of names
for the referees of each session. It is natural that
conveners of each session will be responsible for the session.
*) Only after February 28 (Deadline of the draft), we
will announce the next deadline (March 31).
*) We talked about MC generator session and Panel session.
It would be nice if Dave (Seki) will give an introducrion
and/or summarize the session. We already assigned some extra pages
      to Dave and Seki-san.
     * We will ask the Publisher whether we can show our papers
      in our home page.

    2) Dave explained a NuInt02 plan. A poor-man's plan and
     rich-man's plan. Dec.2-5, 2002.
Basically, all agreed to have it in UCI.

(I think that things will change for the better direction
after hearing a good news from JSPS/NSF.)

Most important: We should check the date of the workshop with Suzuki-san
about a possible conflict of NuInt02 with NOON/LowNu/Xenon.
     Check also DOE review etc.

    Regards,
    Makoto Sakuda

I am supposed to send to you a list of referees to each
session. I am showing the list of conveners for each session
who organized speakers/talks of each session.
I will sleep over the list and come again with a list of
referees. We welcome your proposal and opinion.

    Session 1 -Objectives and Motivations
    (Sakuda*,Suzuki,Lipari)

Session 2 -Theoretical Issues of electron-nucleus/neutrino-nucleus
    interactions and nuclear effects
      (Conveners: Morfin*, Seki, Lipari, Para)

Session 3 -Overview of existing and new data on
    neutrino-nucleus interactions
     (Conveners: Itow*/Suzuki/Sakuda)

Session 4 -MC generators and Theoretical Calculations
     Conveners: Casper*/Seki/Hayato/H.R.Gallagher

    Session 5 -Panel session
