2nd track finding : fgtrkfndsci

This is the short track finding using the reconstructed vertex. In the fragment finding/track finding, the tracker can find only tracks passing at least 3 SciFi layers. But, the most of the low energy protons and/or pions should make shorter track, 2 or 3 layers track. So, this step will help the short track reconstruction and also, multi-track vertex reconstruction.

Case 6 : ${\mathbf FLAG \; of \; {\it Track} : fgflagtrksci = 9} $

The procedure is as follows :

  1. Hits which will be used for 2nd track finding :
    1. not used in exising tracks
    2. not isolated hit(if any hit dosn't have other hit in 15cm)
  2. SEED of 2nd track.
    1. for the case that a vertex has 2 or more track. : the vertex itself will be the seed point.
    2. for the case that vertex has only one track. : try all the hits located within 15 cm from the vertex.
  3. Try the same procedure of fragment finding(described above) with only hits of '1'
  4. check the combination of X and Y fragments
  5. make track which is the good combinations
  6. including newly found track, fit the vertex again.
