It saves time. Sorry for the confusion. I heard that the publisher will prepare and distribute the instructions to each authors. (All we have to prepare is the list of e-mail addresses.) Therefore, it is not necessary for us to prepare the detailed documents by ourselves. In such case, it is easy for us and them to prepare the different documents for each authors.
