Dear Colleagues,

Recently we have been getting many strange registration requests
asking for letters for visas for people who clearly aren't actually
coming to the meeting.

I'm sure it is obvious to all of you that we shouldn't send invitation
letters to these people but I just want to double check that it isn't
been done automatically by a secretary or something.  In these times
we certainly need to be aware of people who are trying to obtain
visas fraudulently.
