    Dear Prof. Stodolsky,

In fact, we are discussing about more concrete program and
Session 2 "Objectives and Motivations" will include talks
on supernova related topics. But, we do not have any
concrete idea yet. We (OPC) appreciate if you could suggest any idea or a good
     speaker on this subject ( (d) ).

    2. Objectives and Motivations
       (a) Precise Measurements of neutrino oscillation parameters
           with Long-Baseline accelerator beams
           - 1st generation: K2K, Minos, Opera
           - Next generation(s): JHF, Superbeams, nu-factories
       (b) Determination of neutrino oscillation parameters
             with atmospheric neutrinos.
       (c) Background studies for proton decay
       (d) Astrophysics (?)
(SN seems to be the most interesting subject)
       (e) Particle physics (?)
[axial form factors, from hard to soft in QCD, ...]

I added one word "astrophysics" to the item 1.

    ----------------------------------------------------
     2. SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
The topics will include the following subjects:

           1. Neutrino-nucleus interactions, and their relation to
*Here* neutrino oscillations, proton decay studies and astrophysics
           2. Review of electron-nucleus interactions and neutrino-
              nucleus interactions
           3. Theoretical review of low energy neutrino-nucleon
              interactions and nuclear effects
           4. Comparison of neutrino event generators
           5. Future experiments for precise neutrino-nucleus interactions

The detailed program will appear on the web page when it is fixed.
    -------------------------------------------

    Regards,
    Makoto Sakuda
