Dear Author,

We have been notified that you will be contributing to the above-mentioned CRC publication, and in this connection we enclose herewith the Elsevier instructions for the preparation of a 2-column format CRC paper. We ask that you study the enclosed materials before beginning the final preparation of your paper, and also that you proof-read your paper carefully before submitting (as it will appear in the published volume in exactly the same form). No proofs will be sent.

For authors using LaTeX, you can prepare your article using Elsevier's CRC LaTeX package, which can also be found at http://www.elsevier.nl/locate/latex . Please use the 2-column CRC format.

Please note that if you have given two separate talks, you are required to write two separate contributions.

Your original final postscript file, which should not exceed the specified pages in length (see the instruction for Authors on the web site) should be e-mailed as an attachment no later than Feb. 28, 2002 to:

All queries relating to the scientific content, submission date and/or page limit should be referred to the Guest Editors at the above address. Any technical questions regarding the preparation of your paper may be directed to the undersigned, quoting the above-mentioned publishers' reference.

The copyright transfer and offprint order forms will be sent by e-mail after Elsevier has received the complete proceedings package from the Guest Editors. Please return these forms promptly.
