    Dear colleagues,
I would like to join Jorge Morfin is sending
my support to our colleagues in SK and K2K.

In the last three days there was the celebration
of 50 years of INFN (the National Institute
for Nuclear Physics), so the 13th of november I was
in a meeting with many of the italian experts on
      particle physics.
We were all very shocked when we learned about the
accident of SK, and this was at the center of many discussions
and considerations. I could measure how the experiment
is considered by all at the very highest rank,
and how everybody sees the accident as
a very serious setback for science.

Today we have read the statement of Totsuka-sensei,
and we are admiring the strength that
the collaboration is showing in these difficult circumstances,
      immediately planning the restart.
We all hope the recovery will be quick.

I'm absolute sure that the neutrino program in Japan
will continue as a world leader.
(and ... we may even get a better SK for JHF !)

        With my best wishes
             Paolo
