K2K Spectrum Analysis: FD Merged Fitting
- Some bugs are fixed on 2002/10/02.
Figures below are new, bug-fixed version.
(Error matrix is not changed)
- Errors on measured spectrum are errors estimated
by 1kt+SciFi merged fitting,
where error correlations between bins are taken into account
by using the error matrix obtained from the fitting.
- Neutrino spectrum measured at Front Detectors:

- Box is the results of FD merged fitting,
while histo. is the prediction of beam MC which we are using.
- The error bars are estimated by the flux fitting of FD data.
- Fitting results of merged, 1kt-only and SciFi-only fitting:

- Box is the results of FD merged fitting,
while red and blue crosses are those of 1kt-only and SciFi-only
fitting, respectively.
- Model dependence of fitted non-QE/QE ratio:

- Official error matrix used in oscillation analysis:

- Error of non-QE/QE ratio is enlarged to 20% by hand
because the result of 1kt-only fitting and that of
SciFi-only fitting are inconsistent.
The descrepancy between them is +/-20% with respect to
the result of merged fitting.
We quoted this number as the systematic error
on non-QE/QE ratio. See also above figure.
- Each matrix elements which is correlated to non-QE/QE ratio is
also enlarged
corresponding to enlarged error of non-QE/QE ratio.
