MRD event rate summary and SK expect

Fiducial = radius<3m, 1-3rd iron (73ton), Nlayer>=2.

## NOTICE ##   Up-dated spectrum error, based on 25% (75%) uncertainties at 0.5-1(0-0.5)GeV bin.

    Fiducial = all of 1-9th iron, Nlayer>=1.
    Acceptance correction and target mass correction is already applyed.

  • merged DATA profile(Nov99-Apr01), overlayed with MC, [profile (Low E and High E)].

    Muon energy spectrum and angular distribution

    Fiducial = radius<3m, 1-3rd iron, Nlayer>=2,  for stability plot 1-9th iron, Nlayer>=1.
     
  • Muon energy spectrum, [DATA(Nov99-Apr01) and MC(standard)], [DATA, MC(standard), MC(muon only)].normalized by their entries.
  • Muon angular distribution, [DATA(Nov99-Apr01) and MC(standard)], [DATA, MC(standard), MC(muon only)],  normalized by their entries.
  • Stability of [energy] and [angle], monthly variation compared with the average of 250kA.
  • Comparison between 2000(blue: 99Nov-00June) vs 2001(red: 01Jan-01Apr), regarding [energy] and [angle].

    Detection (& selection) efficiency as a function of muon energy

    This is estimated by standard MC.
