    1. Official Page
Boyd answered questions raised at the K2K council and
    updated the figures.
Walter/Boyd/Ishida are finishing the official page.

    2. fgsim
Boyd studied the effect of no LG system using FGSIM.
He saw the increase by >2 in the statistics below 1 GeV.
He is studying the background fraction. A first look at the
background shows a similar background level.

He is asked to look at the statistics of 2-track sample.

    3. MRD selection
Iwashita looked at the matching distance between the MRD hit
and scifi track for the first layer events. After using the
distance scaled by the multiple scattering effect, he
estimates 2% of them to be outside the 3sigma region. They
are background according to the scanning result.

This code will be taken in our selection. His selection
will add 10% or more events to the First category.

    4. 2-track analysis by Park
Park did a quick look at 2-track sample with 2 hits.
This bank should be taken in the analysis for the study of
    signals and noise.
This info is important for us to understand the proton range
    distribution.

    5. Low energy track reconstruction
B.J.Kim will continue the 2-track analysis and the
associated tracking developement which Park is doing.
He hopes to reconstruct more neutrino events below 1 GeV
using 2-tracks before the next collaboration meeting.

His new alignment parameters should be updated for the new
datasets. (He will re-do the alignment for Nov99-Jun00 data.)

    6. Calibration
We need the LED calibration to start the pixel simulation
    for the present data set.
