Hardware (Iwashita) We finished LED calibration for all IITs last week. We did not observe any sign of leak after we filled sight tubes with water last week. We will start EL calibration. (Iwashita has finished this on Dec.13th) 2. Event Rate etc Yoshida/Kobayashi san made a new Monte Carlo dataset last weekend with correct MRD efficiency (97.5%). Ishida finished SciFi analysis+1st reduction. They started generating June99 Monte Carlo data with 97.5%. Systematic errors due to flux error and inelastic/elastic error was estimated with old efficiency table. New efficiency values from new MC sets will be used. Hyeonseo re-estimated the systematic error in the fiducial volume error. He also checked the efficiency of MRD chambers for 1st-4th layers using cosmic-ray data. Ishida will update the numbers as soon as new efficiency is obtained. (N-sk will become higher as the efficiency gets lower.) 3.
