Those events which aren't obvious 3d matches which our matching scheme didn't select look like real fragment/hit events. However : Number in 2d events in data --------------------------- = 1.3 +/- 0.4 % Number of Muc3d events and in MC the same fraction is 0.94 +/- 0.08 % The event fractions are consistent but aren't what you call large. Also, there is a file in my directory on the web (accessible from the scifi page) called 2denergy.ps This is just the migration matrix. Events in this plot are true QE events with less than 3 tracks with greater than 3 hits. The plot is fairly diagonal (although with a scatter which is indicative of the number of events in the plot - 64) BUT there are few events below 1 GeV generated neutrino energy. Given the total number of events I can't see this event category helping. Especially as this used all the MC I had available and there were only 64 QE 2drec events left. I'd need a lot more MC for a good (for which read - reliable) estimate of the efficiency matrix. Steve --
