Gain stability Yokoyama/Ishida analysed all cosmic-ray data from Oct.99 to Jul.00 and measured gain/efficiency at all periods. IIT8 and IIT17 need a change of the filter condition for some periods when they were replaced. Others are stable. Jeon will measure the same quantities in 1-track sample. She also studies <Npix> for noise tracks. 2. Satellites and Noise Iwashita studies the probability of selecting fake tracks as a muon track in MUC-3d sample, using cosmic-ray data. After requiring a good scifi^MUC matching condition, the probability is negligible (<1%). He compares the cluster distribution in data and MC. <Npix> is very useful for estimating noise contamination. 3. Tracking Park studies the probability of selecting fake tracks as a second track. It is estimated to be a few %, but after delta-theta cut, it is less than 1%. He showed the neutrino spectrum expected from 2-track LG events. He also suggests to require at least 2 hits of MUC as a veto signal for LG events. 4. SciFi meeting will be held on Sep.21, 8:30am-10am. A speaker is asked to summarize his result in one or two figures/pages. Agenda (1) Gain/Efficiency vs. period and comparison with MC (Ishida/Yokoyama/Jeon) (2) Effects of gain and noise on the muon selection (Ishida/Iwashita) (3) Comparison of Scan and Software (B.J.Kim/Park) (4) 1-track and 2-track QE spectrum and systematic error (Park) //
