SciFi analysis 1) Ishida showed SciFi*DNveto*MUC-3d rate from Jun99 to Jun00 at finer periods. They were shown at Analysis meeting last week, except last year's data. 2) Park cross-checks SciFi*DNveto rate. 3) SBLee showed the efficiency for 1st and 2nd layer MUCs. 4) Iwashita checked SciFi*DNveto - MUC-3d connection. 5) EunJu finds a few noisy subruns in Jun00. Iwashita will check them carefully. 6) Iwashita/Yoshida gave us CT values. 7) Hayato compared the numbers in Web (Jun Collab - Latest one). -> The result will be reported at Convener meeting. 2. DAQ meeting Iwashita will complete semi-online monitor. EunJu will help. Iwashita also checks the feasibility of EL calibration pulse in DAQ system (Dealine=October). Iwashita consults Hayato. 3. Monte Carlo Document Boyd updated a memo on Pixel simulation, including noise and satellites last month. The memo was handed to Hayato (MC manager) last month. 4. Beam test report -- Yokoyama Kobe group+Yokoyama tested a gated IIT last week. Yokoyama_san explained that the number of tracks measured by IIT changed as the gate width changed. Detailed analysis will be done by Kobe group. Aoki, Y. Tanaka, S. Noda, S. Nishiyama, A. Suzuki SUT H. Yokoyama We tested a gated IIT with a beam at pi beam-line (downstream of the formal user). We set a small fiber bundle only (no sheets) to the IIT and count the number of tracks in the bundle to see if it increases with the gate width. We set a scintilation counter at the upstream and/or downstream of the bundle to monitor the beam intensity. In addition to the above test, we changed the MCP gate width with keeping the gate width of the 1st IIT constant to study the change of the hit density. We will analyse the data soon after we come back to Kobe. Regards, Atsumu
