Minuets of local 1kt meeting (May 21, 2003)
    Kamioka;Miura
    KEK;Asia,Antonty
    Kashiwa;Itow

    1) Hardware status (Asia)

    * WEB TMC ch8 monitor has stopped for a while due to nurock replacements.
    * FTP problem of water system was fix, while water system is ofcource OK.
    * UV lamp of water system will be replaced by Roy at Jun 6 ~ 7.
    * After Asia will stat at Kamioka from May 27, Kameda will take over
water system until Mine comes in Jun.

    2) Offline/reduction shift (Antony)

    Report from reduction shift (Antony).
Timing problem of ch8 in web in Run4411 only in short subrun 3.
    Other are fine.
We should use "Short run" instead of "Junk Run" for reduction shift.
"Junk run" should be used for real garbage run.

    3) PID study (Antony)

He studied PID with and without Cherenkov angle information for
-100cm,0cm, +100cm vertex shift. The results are

           -100cm 0cm +100cm
          w/ w/o w/ w/o w/ w/o
    mu 0.4% 0% 0% 0% 7% 12%
    e 12 % 9.1% 2.1% 1.6% 1.2% 1.1%

    4) Ni/Laser data for QE calibration (Antony)

Now old Ni data files were found. Antony will check it.
He will check also low-intensity TQmap laser data.
He will obtain 1pe distribution for each PMT with low intesity laser
and QE table for each PMT from Ni data.
If he needs, he will take new Ni and low intensity data
( with lower ATM threshold if needed ) after Jun shutdown.

    5) Laser injection (Asia)

She replaced measured laser wave length by 415.5nm with gaussian
from monocromatic 410nm for 410nm run set.
It increase reflection light in MC.

    6) Asia will stay at Kamioka durin June to finalize water parameter
and tune 1kt PID pattern template.

    7) NSK (Miura)

Nnu/N1peak vs period seems stable. But in Ntotpeak/CT vs period,
     2003 run shows increasing.
Also they scattered by 1% which is much bigger than statistical fluctiation.
He will check time dependent systematic error of Ntotpeak due to 3%
of stability of FADC constant given by Hayashi.

Next meeting with video to US, May 30th (Fri) 9:00 am (JST)

    Regards,

    Y.Itow
