    I have used following definitions for 1ring events:
    
    standard MS = sqrt(abs(probms(2,1)))-sqrt(abs(probms(3,1)))
    MS(pattern) = prmslg(2,1)-prmslg(3,1)
    MS(angle)   = probth(2,1)-probth(3,1)
